Liverpool Free Face Shields are providing free face shields for Merseyside health workers. If you urgently need face shields, we can provide the answer. We try to keep stock for urgency and if we can, we can usually  offer free next day delivery.  We have already delivered to Aintree, Walton, Royal Liverpool, Royal Preston and North Tees University Hospital. We have also supplied almost 20 care homes across Merseyside. 

 

During the Covid-19 pandemic, NHS front line staff and across the board health workers are dealing with something unprecedented. They are risking their lives to protect us, our friends and family. They deserve to have the best PPE to protect themselves against this horrid virus.

We are 3D printing face shields 24/7 using multiple machines. We have supplied face shields to Aintree and Walton hospital Covid wards, GP practices,  medical centres, care homes, chemists, mental and social carers and home therapies teams. With donations, we are currently operating 5 x 3D machines with a daily output of upto 200 shields.

We can also supply businesses and members of the public for a donation of £1 per face shield.

A donation of £1 per face shield will help to cover costs as follows:

​

• Purchase of consumables such as filaments, lamination pouches, printing, bags, elastic bands, sanitising products, etc

• Postage costs to send packages of shields to hospitals and other organisations 

• Delivery costs - we deliver face shields directly to our customers, mostly using an electric car, so need to pay for electricity

• Electricity for running the machines

• IT costs
